- Watch what you drink. Did you know that most people drink 2 soft drinks daily? That equals an average of 300 calories added to your caloric intake every day. Eliminate the soft drinks and you will say goodbye to 30 lbs over a year. Yep! That’s what those 300 calories a day add up to! Replace those soft drinks with water. You will feel better and lose weight!
Pump iron. You can burn more calories just by pumping some iron! One pound of muscle burns 30 to 50 calories a day but one pound of fat burns only 9. Yikes! Resistance training baby is the way to go. More muscle equals more calories burned!
- Eat your breakfast. You’ve heard this before but too many people don’t do it. It’s called breakfast because you are breaking a fast. If you wait until hours later, your metabolism will slow down. Sound familiar? Your body thinks you are starving it. You can actually gain weight when you skip breakfast. By eating a healthy breakfast, you can you’re your metabolism running correctly and have more energy during the day.
